About Us
Matsumura Blues Festival Inc is a Victorian-based volunteer-run community association.
Our objectives are to enrich the lives of local community members by organising unforgettable live music events and to showcase the talents of exceptional musicians.
Matsumura Blues Festival Inc is an industry member of Blues Music Victoria Inc and a member of the Hume Blues Club.
Our exciting new project in Kew...
In June 2025, Matsumura launched an exciting new Jailhouse Concert Series in the historic 1888 Kew Court House which has been redeveloped into a purpose-built live music performance space. This theatre showcases the talents of carefully selected original artists to join the Jailhouse Concert Series line-up, with a focus on blues, roots, Americana, soul, blues rock, funk, psychedelic rock, alt. folk, bluegrass & alt. country music.
